Chinese Fortune Cookie
I like americanized chinese food aka cashew chicken. I recieved a fortune cookie this last time I ate some and it was a very interesting fortune. It was thrown away, so this is what I remember it saying, which is pretty close to what it actually said. “Evil is waiting inside the glamorous building.” That is very interesting to me. It helps remind me that the church is not a building, it is the body of Christ. Many people have confused this reality. So just because the bigger the building and prettier the windows, doesn’t mean it’s an effective church. why? because it’s not a building but a body of followers of Jesus Christ. “Evil is waiting inside the glamorous building.”

good thought.
Also, what does your tagline mean?

Jake,
my tagline \”Created by a Masterpiece\” to be honest with you there is not a lot of meaning and thought behind it. Orginally it said \”Creating a Masterpiece\” because I thought it sounded cool. Then I kind of thought of it and God is the Masterpiece and I was created by God. So there you have it, it\’s probably not so amazing to most people, but it\’s pretty awesome to know that all of mankind was created by a perfect, flawless God. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for asking me about it.

Matt-
I like your tagline a lot. I love reading your blob and reading your thoughts. I feel like I am getting to know you more and it makes me happy. You have very good/interesting things to say so be encouraged. It is amazing to think that we were all created by such a perfect God who truly loves us. WOW.

Cool thought. We need to get together and eat some of that Chinese food. A thought that crossed my mind when I read the fortune is how we fall for so many things that look good on the outside but are really just an illusion. Like the idea that if we had more we could be more happy ect. A pretty simple thought but the fortune made me think of it.
